How do I know if I need a new lock or just a repair?
If the lock is badly worn, damaged or the parts are no longer available, replacement is usually the better choice. Small problems like a misaligned strike can often be repaired. Your technician will tell you which applies.
My key is hard to turn. Can that be repaired?
Often, yes. Stiff keys can be caused by a worn key, dirt in the cylinder, or a door that's out of line with its strike. Your technician will find the cause and repair it where possible.
Do you install locks on new doors?
Yes. We can fit locks to new doors, including boring the holes for the lock and deadbolt if the door doesn't come pre-drilled.
